授權(quán)書是由當(dāng)事人預(yù)備，及賦與一位他信任的人之一項(xiàng)權(quán)力——當(dāng)他在精神或健康上出現(xiàn)問(wèn)題，以致不能打理他個(gè)人財(cái)務(wù)時(shí)，替他作出財(cái)務(wù)上之決定，如買賣物業(yè)、銀行存支、交稅及交其他單據(jù)。 授權(quán)書是可以即時(shí)生效，又或者可以指明有事故發(fā)生後才生效，直至當(dāng)事人去世之時(shí)為止。如果沒(méi)有事故發(fā)生的話，當(dāng)事人依然可以自己掌管自己的財(cái)務(wù)。有法人授權(quán)書、委托授權(quán)書等等。
